For one, do not smoke or drink alcohol before bedtime, these anti depressant substances are notoriously known to have cause you whole mouth area to relax too much to the point that it will create a blockage in your breathing pathway. Therefore steer clear of any anti depressant especially before bedtime.
Sleeping on your back have also been linked to snoring, therefore switch your sleeping position and sleep on your side instead. If you’re having trouble making the transition, try putting a tennis ball into the back of your pocket, this way you will not be able to roll over to your back while you sleep.
Another way you can increase your chances against snoring is by opening up your nasal pores before you sleep, this can be done by inhaling steam from a bowl of hot water before you go to bed, as doing so expands your nose pores and help you get more air throughout your sleep.
Lastly, do make sure that you’re having an active lifestyle, choose to live a healthier one by introducing exercises and activities, this way you will start to lose weight. It has been said that being obese or overweight are among the highest risk group for snoring, as such by living a healthier lifestyle you will be able to avert yourself from snoring problems.
