Allergic Reactions can destroy your social life. Although every bit as unsafe, it’s different if you have food or drug or even hereditary allergy. But the form that gives you an ugly response to what you breathe in is a total anti-social problem.

All allergies, whatever kind they are, are each equally unsafe. Let’s be clear on that. But breathed in allergies are, hands down, the worst social life killer. Drug and food allergies you can avoid by just not having or eating them. But breathed in allergies, there are events that you don’t have a say on what the air around you has.

What if your honey asks you for an outing but you know you won’t be able to enjoy the picturesque surrounding because you certainly will end up sneezing continuously after inhaling the nearby flowers’ pollen.

And how about shunning a ride in a convertible with your best pals on countryside streets because inhaling even a tiny speck of dust could start your skin rash? It also ruins romantic moments. When they give or receive flowers, it’s very sure that they will have watery eyes and do a lot of sneezing. Not to mention, there are others who passing up getting pets at home because they are allergic to them.

And those are only the “mild” symptoms! With allergies, your fun is constrained. It’s impossible to take pleasure in a romantic afternoon picnic or a wild road trip with friends, or even get a hairy pet because you know what will happen.

There are antihistamines you can take, but some, if not most of them, can render you sleepy enough to make you skip the fun altogether. They may be far from perfect, but they are your best bet when faced with a situation that sparks your allergy. Because the only other thing that can cure your inhaled allergies is to avoid having them in the first place.

Better arm yourself with antihistamines at all times. Have the non-drowsy kind if you can find any. You never know when you will need it so it’s better to be equipped. And of course, have a specialist check your allergies. There might be something else he or she may prescribe that will aid you.
